Dear Robin,
Thank you so much for bringing your incubation program to the Norton Public Library. You provided everything we needed to hatch chicks – the incubator, power supply, automatic egg turner, brooder box, heat lamp, wood shavings, hay and starter feed. The curriculum you provided helped us with displays, to educate our families and to coordinate many great programs.
Candling the eggs, hatching viewings and chick visits all increased our attendance at programs during what is usually our lull period. The chick story times and” egg-u-cation programs” we ran in conjunction with the incubation program were all very popular. You can see some of the fun we had on our website. The best part, of course, was seeing how nurturing even our most energetic children were when they saw and handled the chicks. The families especially loved your daughter Savanna’s drawings, and the coloring sheets were a great hand-out throughout the program.
I appreciate your patience with my "mother hens calls” and we are all proud of the eleven beautiful chicks we were enjoying raising – and we miss them!
I look forward to having you back again soon. Thank you again for everything.
Sincerely,
Lee
